Abstrakt
Niniejsze badanie jakościowe stanowi przegląd przepisów unijnych i krajowych dotyczących tłumaczeń dokumentów urzędowych na Węgrzech i w Polsce. W odniesieniu do instrumentów prawnych postawiono następujące pytania badawcze: 1) W jaki sposób różne przepisy dotyczące tłumaczeń dokumentów urzędowych wpływają na polską społeczność na Węgrzech? 2) W jaki sposób przepisy dotyczące tłumaczeń dokumentów urzędowych znajdują odzwierciedlenie w procedurach rejestracji stanu cywilnego na Węgrzech? W celu operacjonalizacji pytań badawczych stworzono korpus oficjalnych polskich i węgierskich stron internetowych. Zebrane instrumenty prawne i oficjalne strony internetowe zostały usystematyzowane, zbadane i porównane przy zastosowaniu metod badania dokumentów (Scott i Marshall 2005: 164, Bowen 2009: 32). Analiza wykazała, że węgierskie urzędy stanu cywilnego i polskie władze, definiując wymogi dotyczące tłumaczeń na swoich stronach internetowych, opierają się głównie na przepisach krajowych. Co więcej, wyniki sugerują, że mogą istnieć znaczne różnice między zasadami określonymi w przepisach a praktyką, co może powodować poczucie niepewności u migrantów wewnętrznych, którzy załatwiają sprawy urzędowe wymagające przekładu dokumentów.
